Making friends at REI

It never ceases to amaze me the intellegence of some people especially when it comes to lower management in retail stores. I pulled into REI today to do a little Christmas shopping and the snow is falling pretty heavy. I have already passed up about 10 cars stuck in the ditch and the weather is predicting up to an inch an hour, so after all is said and done I too probably should have stayed indoors.

So as I walk through the parking lot towards the door I notice a clerk outside shoveling in front of the store. Unfortunately it is coming down so hard as soon as he finishes an area he pretty much needs to go back to start over. Me being me, I couldn't help but look over at him as I passed by and comment "Well at least you have job security!" The murderous glare the guy gave me was anything but friendly.
